Having founded in 1991, today the company has been established as a reputed software development house and a quality educational institute. The OpenArc Group of Companies consists of primarily OpenArc Systems Management (Pvt) Ltd. and OpenArc School of Business and Technology Ltd.
OpenArc Systems Management (Pvt) Ltd. is the software arm of the group which has been established as a reputed supplier of software for Banks, Finance companies, Manufacturing and Securities markets. OpenArc is the market leader in certain software markets such as Merchant Banking, Finance & Leasing where the company is currently sharing 75% of the market in Sri Lanka.
OpenArc School of Business and Technology (OSBT) conducts courses from Diploma level to Degree level in information technology, business management, marketing and project management. The company has been a leader in providing BIT degree level education and achieved highest level of results from the beginning of this programme introduced by the University of Colombo. At its head office in Colombo, the group has now established the ‘OpenArc Industrial Campus’ where education and practice of software development take place within the same premises.
OpenArc Properties (Pvt) Ltd is a new venture with which company has launched its new diversification plan in to selected sectors while keeping the Information Technology and software systems as the back bone of the new ventures being formed within OpenArc group.
NetCash Systems (Pvt) Ltd. is another new OpenArc associate company which OpenArc has launched with an Australian partner with the intention of providing unified solution for ATM requirement of Banks and Finance companies of the country. OpenArc has partnered with international suppliers of ATM machines and ATM software providers to implement such network of ATMs in Sri Lanka.
